Basically when I purchased a ticket I choose from Marco polo airport in Italy says Venice( Ravenna) that’s why I book my flight ticket for 10 am in the morning 28th from Marco polo airport, Venice Cruise came on the port 6 am in the morning but they don’t allowed us to go till 6:30 in the morning plus explain deck five Custumer Servise I have a fly 9:30 gate is close so I book taxi pay which is €330 from Ravenna to the Venice, Marco polo airport I have only free hour to do this fly I don’t know from where to start the mistake. We had a booking at 11am and didn't make it and were waiting since 8:45 at the location we were told would be checking reservations. We were told that they would start checking our reservations to make sure people with earlier ones got the first tender, but that was a lie, they just had us go enmass and wait. We also missed our tour in Santorini because there was 0 organization for everyone trying to get a tendered boat, and it started much later that it was supposed to with people sitting on the stairs. We had to figure it all out ourselves and scramble to get new tours. No apology and they said that the new tour was given to us at a discount, but it was actually charged at $40 more than if we just booked it on the boat. But then two days before we get there we were told that our 8 hour tour was now going to be 4 hours, completely different, and starting at the hottest part of the day. They said that our excursion we booked, through the cruise, for Athens would just move to the new day and we didn't have to change anything. The problem is that what they promised to handle they didn't. It would have been nice to have a little more notice, but the fact that they changed the whole schedule to save our vacation was amazing.
Due to the strike in Athens, they switched the order of our stops as well as the times that we would be getting off, and this was actually awesome. There are definitely issues with the rude staff, overcrowding, paid internet doesn't work in the room, and bad smells/cleanliness that have already been mentioned in previous reviews, I also had to wait over an hour just to be served at the main dining room, but the misleading of customers has been my largest concern. I've been on multiple royal cruises and this one has just been crazy bad.
